The Commission on Science, Technology and Diplomacy is pleased to announce that Jiya Pandya is recipient of its 2024 Early Career Prize for the paper ‘Disability as Geopolitics: India, the UN, and Transnational Welfare’.
Out of a strong set of submissions, two further papers were selected for recognition as Honourable Mentions: Sungeun Kim, for ‘Bridging over the Troubled Waters: Geopolitics of Transnational Cooperation in East Asian Oceanography’, and Chloë Mayoux, for ‘Nuclear Knowledge, Technology, and Development during Decolonisation in West Africa (1957-1963)’.
